What Does this Mean?

When real estate agents represent their buyers/sellers they earn a commission based on the sales price of the home and receive that commission only after the transaction goes to settlement.

For example if your purchase price is $500,000 and most sellers will pay a 3% commission to the selling agent; therefore the commission would be $15,000 and if you used our affiliated agent you could receive $2,250 towards your closing cost from your agent.
